The eastern part of Slovakia in the area surrounding the city of Poprad is lovely and extremely rich in variety. Gentle hills, plains, the rugged landscape of Slovensky Raj (Slovak Paradise), the Low Tatras and the High Tatras, the smallest high mountain range in the world in terms of area, are all geographically close to each other here. Furthermore, impressive towns and places such as Levoca and Spissky Hrad Castle, which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, are located nearby.

Hohe Tatra und Slovensky Raj

The High Tatras and the Slovak Paradise, Slovensky Raj, both national parks, are the destinations of this one-week tour. In addition, there is time to visit various places and sites in the region.

Timetable:

Sunday, 12 July 2026: Individual arrival in Vysoke Tatry, first meeting at the Huschwai Cafe

Monday to Wednesday, 13–15 July 2026: Hikes in the High Tatras and visits of various places in the region

Thursday, 16 July 2026: Departure for Hrabusice, visits to several places and sites in the region possible (selection: Spisska Nova Ves, Spissky Hrad, Levoca, etc.), including short tours to discover these places or, if desired, a day at leisure.

Friday and Saturday, 17–18 July 2026: Hikes in Slovak Paradise or, alternatively, visits to some places in the region as listed above, including short discovery tours.

Sunday, 19 July 2026: Individual departure

Hikes require surefootedness, a head for heights and stamina to cope with the distances and metres in altitude! Ladders to overcome height differences or stepping boards with rope safety devices along rock faces may be part of the trail.

Meeting point and first get-together of the group on Sunday, 12 July 2026: at the Huschwai Café in Stary Smokovec, Vysoke Tatry at 5 p.m.

Prices: 790 Euro per person aged 12 and over. If you book in 2025, it's 720 Euro per person! If you book by the end of March 2026, it's 750 Euro per person!

For groups of 5 or more people aged 12 and over, 750 Euro per person! If you book before the end of 2025, 680 Euro per person in the group! If you book before the end of March 2026, 710 Euro per person in the group.

Included services: Guided hikes during the week, information about nature and natural attractions in the region.

Services not included: Costs for arrival and departure or for travel within the region, accommodation and meal costs, costs for travel by public transport or, if necessary, by taxi, parking fees (if using a car), expenses such as admission fees, etc.

Accommodation is available from Sunday, 12 July to Thursday, 16 July (4 nights) in Stary Smokovec or the nearest towns, and from Thursday, 16 July to Sunday, 19 July (3 nights) in Hrabusice or the nearest towns. Details about accommodation will be provided upon registration or upon request without any obligation!

Registration and advance payment required up to 21 days before the date of the event by submitting the registration form (as described below)!

When registering multiple participants, please specify the number of participants in the "Your text" field!

A deposit of 150 Euro per person is required! Registration is complete upon receipt of the deposit, and a confirmation will be sent out. Details regarding the deposit will be provided upon registration! The remaining amount must be paid in cash on site BEFORE the start of the event or transferred in advance!

Required equipment:

• Trekking or hiking shoes and clothing appropriate to weather conditions
• Sun protection ( hat...)
• Food as required! Drinking water! Refreshments are sometimes only available at the end of hikes!
• Take your binoculars as an option
