Snowshoeing in the Höllengebirge in the Feuerkogel area! This tour offers everything your heart desires! Wonderful views of snow-covered mountains and the lowlands, wide, largely untouched snowy landscapes and a wonderful winter experience! By the way: Snowshoes and gaiters can be hired for a fee from Wanderbar or at the Feuerkogel mountain station!

We meet in front of the Feuerkogelbahn valley station in Ebensee to hand over snowshoes (and gaiters if required) to those who wish to hire them from Wanderbar. This is also possible at the Feuerkogel mountain station (separate ticket available). We then go on a long tour with the possibility of going up the Höllkogel, to the Rieder Hütte and other destinations. A stop for refreshments is possible! Recommendation: bring binoculars!

Level of difficulty: fitness required for walking the specified distance and metres in altitude!

Venue: always at 9 a.m. in front of the entrance to the Feuerkogelbahn valley station in Ebensee, ending at 4 p.m. at the latest.

Price: 35,- Euro per person from 12 years, children up to 12 years free! For groups of 6 or more people aged 12 and over 30 euros per person. Hire fee for snowshoes (and gaiters if required): 15,- Euro. Limited number of snowshoes and gaiters available, hire in the order of registration!

Included: Guided tour, information about the area and the surrounding mountains, interesting facts about snow

Not included: Tickets for ascent and descent with the Feuerkogel cable car, costs for refreshments

Registration required: at least five days before the relevant day by contact form, e-mail (willkommen@wanderbar-markus.at) or telephone, stating the number of participants and names! If you have any questions, please also state your telephone number and I will call you back as soon as possible!

Payment: A deposit of 15 euros per person is required! The remaining amount is to be paid in cash on site. Details of the deposit will be announced upon registration!

Required equipment:

• Hiking boots that reach over the ankles and are water-repellent or waterproof for longer periods.
• Clothing appropriate to the weather, cap, gloves!
• Sunglasses are highly recommended.
• Snowshoes and gaiters (both can be hired for a fee, see price section).
• Sticks, preferably with large discs!
• Food and drinks as required!
• Optional: Binoculars
