Wachau! When you hear the word "Wachau" do you think of... Wine? Buschenschank :-)? Danube? Friendliness? Cycling? Hiking? Enjoyment? Apricots? Spitz, Dürnstein or other places? In any case, the Wachau is a place where you can have a great time. And it is a world heritage regio

From the series "Seasonal Hikes", the Wachau has been chosen for the Autumn hike. Atmospheric vineyards, hills and rifts as well as views of the Danube - the Wachau is rich in attractions. And, the colourful leaves shine most beautifully in the light of autumn. Recommendation: Take binoculars with you!

The starting point of this tour can be reached by public transport. The tour itself is ideal for all hiking enthusiasts and anyone who wants to get to know the section between Dürnstein and Krems. Fitness for walking, including ascents over the specified distances, is required! A sure foot and a good head for heights required! After hiking to viewpoints in Krems the tour ends and we return to the starting point by public transport.

Date and venue:  Friday, 18 October 2024 in Dürnstein at the Kremser Tor at 9 am. Return at approx. 6 pm.

Price: 40,- Euro a person from age of 12 years. Children up to 12 years of age free!! Groups of 6 or more person from age of 12 years: 35,- Euro a person!

Services not included: Travel costs to and from the destination, costs for public transport, costs for refreshments

Payment: Deposit of 15,- Euro per person required! Details about the deposit will be announced at registration! The remaining amount is to be paid in cash on site.
