Our hike along the north side of the Grundlsee which takes us a little higher up the slope provides a very good overview of the beauty of the picturesque surroundings and the lake itself Traditional houses, typically built using a lot of wood, are worth a look and we pass some of these gems.

At the end of the tour, at the lido in Gößl, the clear water is perfect for a swim. It is therefore a good idea to pack swimwear so that you can cool off in the lake after the tour.

This tour includes asphalt roads, sandy paths and forest trails. A good level of fitness is required to walk the stated distance and vertical metres!

A stop for refreshments during the tour is not planned!

At the end of the tour, at the Grundlsee tourist information office, there are several options for returning to the starting point. Busline 956 (Grundlsee Seeklause – Gößl Strandbad and back) or Lake Grundlsee Navigation.

Note: If the weather or other circumstances make it difficult or impossible to carry out this tour, it is possible that an alternative tour will be offered or the tour will be cancelled. In that case, all registered participants will be informed of changes.

Price: 25,- Euro per person from 12 years, children up to 12 years free! For groups of 8 or more people from 12 years 20,- Euro per person.

Excluded services: Travel costs to the starting point, car park fees.
