6 - 12-year-old children learn in nature from nature in a playful way. Mindful interaction while being in and with nature is also important!

Through discovery and in the use of games, stories or suggestions, children are encouraged to get in touch with nature and to use their creativity. This experience of playing and creating, as an individual child or in a group, is the content of nature education. The range of topics is wide and includes animals, plants, water, forests, soil and ecological relationships.

Note: Children are very likely to soil their clothes or hands and possibly (as camouflage) their faces when interacting with nature. It is possible to get scratches.

Programme:

• Starting point: at the car park in front of the largest poppy painting at 1:50 pm
• Walk to the venue in the forest (approx. 5 minutes)
• Adventures, games, stories, exploration...
• Return to the largest poppy painting at 4 pm

Parents are asked not to watch, as this would be distracting. If your child does not want to separate from the parent(s), parents may be present and gradually retreat once their child has gone familiar with the group.

Registration and advance payment required by Monday, 28 July 2025 via contact form, e-mail (willkommen@wanderbar-markus.at) or by telephone by stating the date of the event (Saturday, 2 August 2025), the number of children and their names! If you have any questions, please also state your telephone number! A deposit of 10 euros per child is required! Once the deposit has been received, the registration is complete and a confirmation will be emailed.

Price and payment:

25,- Euro per child. Deposit of 10,- Euro per person required (see registration)! Details of the deposit will be announced upon registration! The remaining amount must be paid in cash on site BEFORE the start of the event or transferred in advance!

Required equipment:

• Clothes and shoes for the time in nature, appropriate for the weather, which may also get dirty.
• If necessary, shoes that can be worn in the water (or barefoot).
