Gordon Family Training for Fathers

Gordon-Family-Training for Fathers
by Markus Leonhartsberger and
Mag.a phil. Birgit Katstaller

Fatherhood no longer just means providing for the family financially, but has expanded to include involvement in household responsibilities and raising children. Additionally, fathers are expected to be loving and understanding partners, while also balancing their own needs and interests.

Fathers will learn how all this is possible to communicate in an apropriate way in this special Gordon family training course.

Here are some of the contents:
– Saying what you feel and think without offending anyone
– Being able to understand yourself, your children, and your partner even better
– Learn to listen really well so that the other person feels hear and understood
– Respect your own needs and those of others
– Expressing one's own opinion and setting one's own boundaries
– Agree on rules within the family
– Settling disputes and resolving conflicts
– Dealing with differencies in values
– Recognizing the importance of the father in the family unit
– and much more besides...

Scope of the training:
– 10 sessions – once a week – 30 hours in total
– Two sessions to reflect after finishing the training
– Participation in the Gordon get-together, approximately once a month
– Working materials
