ELEMENT I - Die Suche! - The Quest!: Duration: approx. 3 hours! Price: 30,- Euro per child or teenager
ELEMENT II - The Adventurers: Duration: approx. 2.5 hours! Price: 25,- Euro per child or teenager
ELEMENT III - This is fun! Duration: approx. 2.5 hours! Price: 25,- Euro per child or teenager
ELEMENT IV - The element to customise!: Duration and price: these are based on the selected basic element I, II, III or V. Changes do not result in a different duration or price.
ELEMENT V - Games at dusk and in the dark: Duration: approx. 2 hours! Price: 20,- Euro per child or teenager
Element I offers, led by a guide, games, tasks, chances to show your creativity and much more fun activities, which are related to each other and form a so-called ‘quest’. This content is embedded in a story, builds on each other as part of the quest, and there is a purpose at the end that is given or mentioned at the beginning. There are various quests with different backgrounds, some of which can be chosen by the pupils. The selection of possible stories depends on the age of the children or young people!
Examples of quests or stories that could apply, but there could also be completely different ones, are: ‘Stone Age’, fantastic worlds (e.g. ‘In Fairyland’, ‘On the Alien Planet’) or ‘The Improvisation Masters’ or other themes that may have local features (e.g. tales or nature creatures) and historical backgrounds woven into them (e.g. from Roman times)! Teamwork as well as heart and brain are required to complete all the tasks of a quest in small or larger teams and to reach the goal!
Examples of possilbe goals of quests:
‘Stone Age’ - Possible goal: start a fire (at an official fireplace)
‘In fairytale land’ - Possible goal: Find treasure
To achieve the goal, all sorts of other tasks, puzzles, games etc. have to be accomplished! We don't want to give too much away. Other quests will have different objectives. Contents are chosen according the age of pupils!
The design of the tasks often requires the use of individual skills, which will need to be combined in the team if a successful result is to be expected. Fun and excitement are involved as the tasks focus on agility, dexterity, stamina, strength, orientation, adventure, discovery, design and awareness. There may even be surprises from time to time! As a quest is a larger task, distances of up to 4 km have to be walked.
A quest can be designed to be more or less physically challenging. More challenging can mean crossing a shallow stream, carrying someone else alone or together with others, walking a short distance over a slackline or balancing on it, walking uphill and carrying something together... so it is not too challenging either. As these are often team tasks, not every person will encounter a challenging task. However, they can still occur from time to time.
Focus is on play, fun and excitement and safety is at high priority. Scratches, slips, stumbles etc. nevertheless might happen and getting dirty and getting your feet wet is also possible! The leader of the quest will adjust the physical and mental challenge factor to the group. If you are seriously concerned about the skill level of your group despite these circumstances, or if you think they are capable of much more anyway, you may choose element IV, the element for adjusting content to the abilities of the group. This not only allows you to change the ratio of content (taken from nature education or not), but also the proportion of physical and mental requirements.
Content of a quest is mostly from nature education. Choose IMPARTING KNOWLEDGE ABOUT NATURE if you want to know more about what is meant by that. In addition, tasks that have little or nothing to do with nature education may be set. Ratio is approx. 75:25, i.e. the majority of them are related to nature education, as the event is only held outdoors. A quest is therefore not a programme for indoor areas!
Possible venues for element I, a quest are of your choice and will be finalised by agreement.
The Quest - fun and excitement!
Duration of a quest: approx. 3 hours (could be a little more or less). Time starts at the agreed starting time, e.g. at 8.30 am on site at the agreed meeting point. Depending on the agreed location, please allow at least 15 minutes for the group to gather and, if necessary, for the walk etc. (take packed lunches if necessary)! Delays will not be made up for.
Price: 30,- Euro per person (except a teacher, if he/she is included).
Services included: If necessary, coordination with the contact person (teacher) throughout the organisation and running of the event.
Services not included in the price: Costs for any meals in between, other fees outside the included services.
Equipment for Element I - Die Suche! - The Quest!
Element I - Die Suche! - The Quest! is led by WANDERBAR Markus Leonhartsberger and in some cases by a second person. Participation of teachers is therefore not necessary. If the participation of a teacher is desired by the teacher him/herself, this may be possible by arrangement. It is possible that the Quest leader wants a teacher to take part. However, the teacher acts as an accompanying person in the background, which is communicated to the pupils. WANDERBAR Markus Leonhartsberger is solely responsible in leading the Quest.
Please refer to the descriptions of elements (after element V) to read about your options in the event of bad weather!

Select Element II - The Adventurers! if you want the content to focus mainly on movement, dexterity, some effort in terms of strength or endurance, but also on feeling and mindfulness. It offers games and tasks in these disciplines for pupils and is led by a guide. All this is embedded in a story, but - in contrast to Element I - Die Suche! - The Quest - have no context and no goal, except one: to have fun and learn something at the process. Element II has different backgrounds, some of which may be chosen by the pupils. To understand what is meant by background, scenario or story in which Element II - The Adventurers! could take place, please read through the examples in the first paragraphs in the description of Element I - The Quest.
The structure of the tasks often requires the use of individual skills and it also depends on teamwork, but perhaps a little less than in element I. There are also surprises from time to time! Element II takes place in and around a specific location. There may be distances of up to 2 kilometres to walk.
Element II - The Adventurers! therefore demands some physical challenges in keeping with its name. Challenging could mean crossing a shallow stream while balancing on stones, carrying someone else alone or together with others, walking a short distance over a slackline or balancing on it, walking uphill and carrying something together, walking a short distance on all fours... so it is not too challenging either.
Focus is on play, fun and excitement and safety is a high priority. Scratches, slips, stumbles etc. might still happen and getting dirty and getting your feet wet, too! The guide of this event adapts the physical and mental challenge factor to the abilities of the group. If you trust your pupils to do what is described and much more anyway, Element II is a good choice. If you are still seriously concerned about the skill level of your group in advance, you can select Element IV, the element for adapting the content to the needs of the group. This allows you to change not only the ratio of content (from nature education or not), but also the level of strength, endurance, skill and confidence required. However, element II is a programme that involves a certain amount of physical activity and should only be changed slightly in this way. If element II is too adventurous for you, choose element III - It's fun! because that one focuses more on fun games, exploring and creating.
Approximately half of the content of element II - The Adventurers! is taken from the section of nature education. Click IMPARTING KNOWLEDGE ABOUT NATURE if you want to know more about what is meant by this. The other part consists of tasks that have little or nothing to do with nature education, so the ratio is about 50:50.
Possible venues for element II are of your choice and will be finalised by agreement.
The Adventurers!:
Duration of element II - The Adventurers!: approx. 2.5 hours. Time starts at the specified starting time, e.g. at 8.30 am at the specified meeting point. Depending on that location, please allow at least 15 minutes for the group to gather and, if necessary, for the walk to the meeting point etc. (take packed lunches with you if necessary)! Delays will not be made up for.
Price: 25,- Euro per person (except one teacher, if he/she is included).
Services included: If necessary, coordination with the contact person (teacher) throughout the organisation and leading the event.
Services not included in the price: Costs for any meals in between, other fees outside the included services.
Equipment for Element II - The adventurers!
Element II - The adventurers! is led by WANDERBAR Markus Leonhartsberger and in some cases by a second person. Participation of teachers is therefore not necessary. If the participation of a teacher is desired by the teacher him/herself, this may be possible by arrangement. It is possible that the Quest leader wants a teacher to take part. Do you like to book element II - The adventurers!? Get in CONTACT with WANDERBAR Markus Leonhartsberger!
Focus of element III - This is fun! is on games and tasks that are fun. Content is centred more on light movement and dexterity and a little less effort, and when it is, it's about having fun. There may be something to do in exploring, creating and being mindful. As in element II, element III - This is fun! is embedded in a background story that can sometimes be chosen by the pupils. To understand what is meant by background, scenario or story in which element III - This is fun! could take place, please read through the examples in the first paragraphs in the description of element I - The Quest. However, as in element II - The Adventurers!, games and tasks are not linked to each other (they just take place in a specified story) and there is no goal as in element I, except one: to have fun and learn something at the same time.
Structure of tasks often requires the use of individual skills and it also depends on teamwork, but to roughly the same level as in element II. There are also surprises from time to time! Element III - This is fun! takes place in and around a specific location. Distances of up to 2 kilometres may have to be overcome. As already mentioned, there is some physical effort, but it does occur just a little.
Focus is on play, fun and excitement and safety is a high priority. Scratches, slips, stumbles and something like that might still happen and getting dirty and getting your feet wet, too! The guide of this event adapts the physical and mental challenge factor to the abilities of the group. If you trust your class to be able to do what is described and much more anyway, element II - The Adventurers! is probably the better choice. But if you are seriously concerned about your group's ability in advance, the better choice is to go with element III!
Only a quite small part of the content of element III - This is fun! is taken from imparting knowledge about nature. Click IMPARTING KNOWLEDGE ABOUT NATURE if you want to know more about what is meant by this. The vast majority is covered by tasks that have little or nothing to do with nature education, so the ratio is around 25:75. You can use element IV to enhance element III in terms of ‘more nature education’ if you want.
Possible venues for element III are of your choice and will be finalised by agreement.
This is fun!
Duration of Element III - This is fun!: approx.

Element IV - The element to customise! is ideal if you already have chosen one of the other elements I - III or V, but would like to make a few adjustments to that element so that content meets the needs of the pupils even better!
Basically two settings may be changed:
Ratio of content:
These either relate to nature education or not! The standard ratio is described in each of the elements I - III and V and you may change it. Keep in mind that you cannot choose any values, because each element has its basic orientation and you can only alter it to a certain extent. Element I - Die Suche! - The Quest will always have a high proportion of nature education and you can change just a little. You can change more in elements II and III.
The proportion of physical skills required:
Either more or less demanding, challenging or with an adventurous character, these factors are adjustable. Please note that each element I - III and V has a basic orientation in this category. Element II - The Adventurers! generally has a higher proportion than Element III - This is fun! The element to customise is intended to make moderate changes. So before you are going to ‘disarm’ element II - The Adventurers! to a great extent, it is better to select element III - This is fun! because that one generally has a lower proportion of it.
Possible venues for element IV are of your choice and will be finalised by agreement.
The element to customise:
Duration of Element IV - The element to customise!: that depends on which of the other 4 elemnts (I - III, V) you have chosen. Because you change that one to a certain ratio. The duration of the selected basic module can be found in the respective description. Please note all the details of the basic element you choose.
Price: The price also depends on the basic element selected. Changing certain parameters does not cost any more.
Services included: If necessary, coordination with the contact person (teacher) throughout the organisation and leading the event.
Services not included in the price: Costs for any meals in between, other fees outside the included services.
Equipment for Element IV - The element to customise:
Element IV - The element to customise! is led by WANDERBAR Markus Leonhartsberger and in some cases by a second person. Participation of teachers is therefore not necessary. If the participation of a teacher is desired by the teacher him/herself, this may be possible by arrangement. It is possible that the Quest leader wants a teacher to take part. Element V - Games during dusk and in darkness! is exactly what the name says. Mindfulness and awareness in games and tasks with the same focus make up the scene. In addition, games with light (torch, headlamp) in teams or as individual tasks are part of the event. Fun and excitement are guaranteed and thrill factor is also part of the show. Games during dusk and in the dark! are only bookable in the evening!
Like in all the other elements, this event is equipped with a background story that can be chosen or co-determined by the class. To understand what is meant by background, scenario or story in which element V could take place, please read through the examples in the first paragraphs in the description of Element I - The Quest. As with Elements II and III, games and tasks of element V are not linked to each other and there is no goal as in element I, except to have fun and to learn something.
Task structure often requires the use of individual skills and it also depends on teamwork. There may be surprises from time to time! Physical effort is less of a focus.
Safety has a high priority. Scratches, slips, stumbles etc. might still happen, and getting dirty, too! The guide of this event adjusts the physical and mental challenge factor to the level of the group.
Approximately 40% of the content of Element V - Games during dusk and in the dark! is from nature education. Choose IMPARTING KNOWLEDGE ABOUT NATURE if you want to know more about what is meant by this. The larger part is covered by tasks that have little or nothing to do with nature education, so the ratio is about 40:60. Using element IV, you can enhance element V in terms of ‘more nature education’ if you want - or increase physical demands.
Possible venues for Element V are of your choice and will be finalised by agreement.

What is meant to be bad weather?
Bad weather means e.g. heavy, continuous rain, strong winds, while taking into account the weather forecast for the following hours.
What's not bad weather?
Cloudy skies, humid or rain-soaked meadows and forest ground in the morning or evening or after rain, light spray or light rain, periods of light rain and intervals of rain, moderate wind without rain. All these conditions do not mean bad weather, although the weather forecast for the following hours must be taken into account.
Options in case of bad weather:
Normally, all elements I - V take place outdoors. In case of bad weather or a high probability of bad weather (if in doubt, arrangement is required!) all modules will be carried out indoor in appropriate rooms and changes will be made depending on the element booked, if you agree. Indoor rooms must be available and equipped for the programme, e.g. objects such as those in a gymnasium should be available. If necessary, these rooms will be checked in advance. If no rooms are available in the event of bad weather, the event will either be postponed or cancelled. The GTC for imparting knowledge about nature apply!!
Element I - Die Suche! - The quest! booked? Alternatively, one of the elements (II, III, IV or V) may be selected and time ( normally approx. 3 hours) is shortened. Elements II and III: approx. 2.5 hours at a price of 25 euros per person. Element V approx. 1.5 - 2 hours at 20 euros per person. This means that it is no longer a quest, as it would be impossible to carry it out indoors.
Element II - The adventurers! booked? An indoor programme of the same length is provided at the same price as the outdoor programme (approx. 2.5 hours for 25 Euro per person).
Element III - It is fun! booked? An indoor programme of the same length is provided at the same price as the outdoor programme (approx. 2.5 hours for 25 Euro per person).
Element IV - The element to customise! booked? Depending on the selection of the basic element, the alternative one described here is carried out at the stated alternative price.
Element V - Games at dusk and in the dark! booked? An indoor programme of the same length is provided at the same price as the outdoor programme (approx. 1.5 - 2 hours for 20 Euro per person).
The meeting point must always be agreed in advance, as must the starting time. Delays will not be made up for.
